REPD offers an innovative approach to support graduate teachers as they start their careers. By providing on-site assistance, we address challenges in real-time and offer practical solutions. Our coaches enhance support for mentors and school leadership while aligning with APST Graduate Standards to meet VIT registration requirements. We aim to ensure a positive start for new educators, fostering their long-term success in the profession.
We offer one-on-one and small group support for graduate teachers, including workshops and 4-12 week coaching programs. These programs provide practical assistance during their transition into teaching, combining in-classroom coaching with access to online support. Coaches are available outside regular hours to help graduates, and we work with mentors and leadership teams to enhance existing support networks.
The GradConnect Network is an online community for early-career educators to connect, collaborate, and grow professionally. Members can share ideas, ask questions, and access resources to aid their classroom transition. The platform is monitored for positivity and includes live drop-in sessions, fostering supportive professional relationships for graduate teachers throughout their careers.
